Turner and Turner Cleaning illegally posting flyers in Canton

On August 16th, 2011, I found that Turner and Turner Cleaning had littered my Canton neighborhood with their illegal flyers. I’m posting pictures here. I also reported the offense to the city via 311. Just a note: if you want to report illegal flyers in your neighborhood (please do!) you should leave them in place for a few days until the authorities can visit your address to document the flyering.

Some Notes from Your Intrepid Author

It’s time for a summary post for my readers.

Posts have been quiet lately on account of the time I have to commit to posting and, to be honest, the current lack of flyers deposited on my doorstep.  With the weather becoming warmer, however, I anticipate this frequency to increase.

Below are some bullet points that I have received in comments or emails to the author of this blog.

• I am always looking for different authors and contributors to this blog, as my time is always an issue and, quite frankly, highlighting a problem primarily affecting my environs of Pigtown does not, I think, bring this issue home.

• On that note, if you would like to merely contribute photos of violations from your neighborhood, feel free to send photos with a brief summary of the offender.
• Additionally, if you can, make sure your format fits that of the blog.  Be sure to include an appropriate handle or name for attribution.
• Non-Profit Agencies
• Non-profit agencies–neighborhood and/or citizen groups and churches–are generally excepted from this law.
